Scalloped Hammerhead Sharks

\The Scalloped Hammerhead Shark belongs to the larger hammerhead species, and like all representatives of this family, has the typically formed "hammer" consisting of a central dent and an arched front edge.  These Fish can grow up to 12 ft long but smaller puppy sharks will stay inshore.  The one pictured below was released unharmed after a quick fight and photo session.  It was caught by LT Don on his first fishing trip after he returned from deployment to the Kuwait with the US Army.
