This is the ugliest fish in the Ocean and has Venomous Dorsal Spines

  I caught this strange fish at a near shore reef in about 40ft of water on Squid 

 

Stingray Pictures

 

  Stingray are more of a nuisance then an unusual catch.                                     

With their large wingspan they can put up a fight on light tackle, I hooked one once that dragged my 19 ft bayliner across a channel while we fought it. The trick when hooking one is to keep it moving and not let it settle on the bottom.  The thumbnail on the right above had a mouth so big I could put my whole fist in it. (but I didn't ;) )
